A little planning, a little creativity, and a whole lot of tiny possibilities!
Have you ever had a miniature room idea in your head but weren't quite sure where to start?
Maybe you've collected a few pieces of furniture, fallen in love with a wallpaper, or have a whole Pinterest board full of inspiration — but turning all those ideas into one tiny space can feel a little overwhelming.
That's exactly why I created this FREE Miniature Room Planner Pack!
It's a fun, printable collection of worksheets designed to help you organize your ideas, experiment with colours and textures, plan your furniture layout and bring your miniature room to life.
Whether you're working on a dollhouse, a room box, a miniature shop or just dreaming up your next project, this little planner is here to help.

Give your room a little personality! Think about who uses the space, the story behind it, the colours, materials, furniture and those tiny details that make it feel lived in.
3. 1:12 Scale Room Layout Grid
Plan where everything will go before you start building or decorating. Sketch out furniture placement, doors, windows and other room features on the printable grid.

Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference. This checklist helps you think about lighting, textures, furniture spacing, colour balance and all the finishing touches that make miniature rooms feel realistic.
5. Bonus Miniature Wall Art
Because every tiny room deserves a little personality! I've also included a sheet of 20 adorable miniature art prints that you can cut out and use in your projects.
And, of course, everything is decorated with a little Little Cat Workshop charm.
How to Use Your Miniature Room Planner
There's no right or wrong way to plan a miniature room, but here's how I like to approach it.
Start with a feeling
Before choosing furniture or wallpaper, think about how you want the finished room to feel.
Cozy and lived-in? Bright and coastal? Vintage and romantic? Dark and moody?
Use the mood board to gather inspiration and find a direction.
Give your room a story
One of my favourite ways to make miniature spaces feel realistic is to imagine who lives there.
Is it a cozy little cottage belonging to someone who loves books and plants? A seaside bedroom filled with collected treasures? A tiny shop with shelves full of handmade goods?
Even the smallest details become more meaningful when your room has a story.
Plan your layout
Use the room layout grid to experiment with furniture placement before committing to anything.
It's much easier to move a pencil drawing than a piece of furniture you've already glued into place!
Add the finishing touches
Once your room starts coming together, use the styling checklist to see what might be missing.
A folded blanket, a little artwork, a plant, a book left on a table — these are the details that make a miniature space feel like a real place.
