Free 1:12 Scale Halloween Miniature Bag Toppers

A little Halloween magic for your miniatures — and a free printable to help you make it!

Halloween is one of my favourite excuses to make tiny things, and I thought it would be fun to share a little something with you!

I've put together a collection of retro-inspired Halloween bag toppers that you can use to create your own miniature candy bags, spooky decorations and seasonal shop displays. And the best part? They're completely free to download!

Whether you're decorating a dollhouse, stocking the shelves of a miniature Halloween shop or putting together a tiny trick-or-treat scene, these colourful little packages are a fun way to add realistic details.

What's Included in the Free Printable?

The collection features a variety of Halloween-themed packaging designs, inspired by those wonderfully nostalgic seasonal decorations and candy packages you might find in a party store.

You'll find designs for:

• Spooky decorations: Skeletons, spiders, bats, pumpkins, ghosts, witch hats and more.

• Halloween candy: Gummy worms, chocolate treats, candy corn, jelly beans, lollipops and other creepy sweets.

• Fun seasonal extras: Miniature party favours, novelty treats and little Halloween surprises.

Each design has a colourful illustrated front and a coordinating solid-colour back, ready to fold over your miniature bags.

How to Make Your Miniature Halloween Bags

You don't need any fancy supplies for this project — just a few basic crafting materials and something tiny to put inside your bags!

You'll need:

• The free Halloween bag topper printable

• A printer and paper (I recommend good-quality matte paper)

• Small scissors or a craft knife

• Clear plastic or cellophane for the miniature bags

• Glue or double-sided tape

• Tiny candies, miniature decorations or handmade fillers

Step 1: Print your toppers

Download the printable and print at 100% or Actual Size. Don't select Fit to Page, as this may change the scale.

Step 2: Cut out your favourites

Carefully cut around the outside of each topper, keeping the coloured front and back together as one piece.

Step 3: Make your tiny bags

Cut a small rectangle of clear plastic, fold it and seal the sides with a little clear tape or glue, leaving the top open.

Fill it with your miniature goodies! You can use tiny beads for candy, little paper bats, miniature pumpkins or anything else that suits your Halloween scene.

Step 4: Add the topper

Fold the topper along the line between the illustrated front and solid-colour back.

Place it over the opening of your filled bag and secure it with a little glue or double-sided tape.

And just like that, you've got your very own miniature Halloween merchandise!
